Elldex begins importing from Asia.
Elldex forms strategic partnerships with Chinese and Malaysian manufacturers. Begins supplying some of Australia and New Zealand’s largest retails brands allowing accesses to improved efficiencies and technologies previously off-limits to the southern hemisphere brands.
This was fundamentally novel prior to the signing of Australia (Dec 2015) and New Zealand (OCT 2008) free trade agreements with China.

Elldex commissions first fully automatic HD and LDPE recycling plant in its Auckland (Albany) production facility.

The Sale of Elldex to Hellaby Holdings
During the 17 year history of McIntyre family ownership, Elldex Packaging Ltd made a name for itself for hiring and promotion of Key Personel who were either Immigrants or Refugees to New Zealand or Australia.
Today Elldex makes up part of the Coveris Group, one of the top 10 largest packaging companies in the world.

China Sourcing was born
Fashioned from the many experiences and partnerships nurtured and created over the previous 17 years with Elldex, and the Elldex sourcing and importing division, China Sourcing was born.

China Sourcing opens its Australia office in Southport.
Servicing blue-chip clients etc etc. China sourcing became a trusted name in Quality Control and on the ground Quality assurance procedure.

China Sourcing opens its first office outside New Zealand and Australia with the Singapore office.
